Sophie Emms

Catchment Officer- Portsmouth Water 

Sophie is supporting and helping deliver the work of the catchment team, in particular with delivering our grant schemes, PES services and reviewing planning applications. Sophie recently graduated with a degree in ecology and conservation and after working as a sampler for Portsmouth Water has recently moved to join the catchment team. Please get in contact with Sophie if you have any questions about our oil tank, PES or capital grant schemes.

Jenna Dewhurst

Environment & Biodiversity Specialist- Portsmouth Water

Jenna manages Biodiversity for Portsmouth Water, including enhance it on operational sites. Jenna's background is Ecology and Land Management with over 15 years working for Local Authorities Countryside Services. Jade Hemsley 

Business Development Advisor (Woodland Creation) - Forestry Commission

Jade is a Business Development Advisor working with the Forestry Commission in the South East & London area: covering Hampshire, Isle of Wright, West Sussex and Surrey. Jade advises farmers, landowners and agents on the improvement and expansion of resilient and financially viable woodland whilst achieving environmental benefits such as improving water quality. Jade’s background extends from farmland entomology to advising farmers on topics such as soil health and nutrient management.

George Tinker

East Hampshire & Western Streams Hampshire Chalk Catchments, Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer - Natural England

George is the Catchment Sensitive Farming Officer for the East Hampshire and Western Streams catchment. He provides advice and support to farmers and landowners on practical farm measures to improve water and air quality. George has a UK and European background in both animal and land conservation and is looking forward to applying this experience to the farm advice that he provides, to the benefit of all.
