Winchester Downs Farmers Group

The Winchester Downs Farm Cluster is a collaborative network of farmers in the Winchester Downs area working together to enhance biodiversity, improve water quality, and promote sustainable farming practices. This initiative, driven by shared goals and the need for a healthy landscape, creates opportunities for local farmers to implement conservation efforts that benefit both their land and the surrounding environment. About us:

Formed in 2018, the Winchester Downs Farm Cluster brings together farmers and land managers across the downs to collaborate on a wide range of environmental projects, covering approximately 9,230 hectares. These include wildlife conservation, habitat restoration, and water quality improvement aiming to create a more resilient farming landscape that benefits both agriculture and nature. The cluster meets regularly throughout the year to discuss a wide range of topics through farm walk, wildlife surveys and educational talks.
